Behind the lens(es)

Everyone is a photographer! We are all critics too! It's inate - Autonomic. We look, we enjoy, we like (or dislike) specific subjects.

For myself, it's most of things we see in the natural world. The things that make you pause to marvel at the wonders available to the human spirit. Simple things that nature intended, without the intervention of man.

Scottish Landscapes, Skyscapes and Wildlife are my subjects. No studio, no stage and no Photoshop! I hope you enjoy my world view!

Equipment

I carry a significant level of professional Canon photographic equipment! Filters can also be employed in front of the lens to improve colour and contrast, especially with sunrise and sunsets. When it comes to wildlife or nightime photography, a phone camera will never give the results available to the experienced photographer with the right tools for the job!
